The Sieders Racing Team Mitsubishi Triton of David Sieders only needed one lap to take pole position for this weekend\u2019s fourth round of the Haltech V8 SuperUtes Series.<\/p>\n
Sieders\u2019 opening lap of a 1m 34.056s was not only enough to take pole, but beat his own V8 Utes record by 1.800s in the Sieders Racing Team Mitsubishi Triton.<\/p>\n
Sieders wasn\u2019t the only drive to dip under the record as series leader Aaron Borg and Craig Woods joined him in eclipsing the previous mark of 1m 35.856s.<\/p>\n
Brog will share the front row with Sieders as he fell just 0.6900s short in the Sieders Racing Team Holden Colorado.<\/p>\n
Woods was 1.007s off the fastest time driving the Western Sydney Motorsport Toyota Hilux as his team\u2019s run of pole positions this season.<\/p>\n
Although delayed by an alternator problem in opening practice, recent race winner George Gutierrez placed his Go Sunny Solar Holden Colorado in fifth ahead of Woods\u2019 Western Sydney Motorsport teammate Ben Walsh.<\/p>\n
Gerard Maggs continued his strong run from practice to place sixth in the World\u2019s Best Technology Ford Ranger, while Craig Dontas will line up behind in the Ryco 24.7 Mitsubishi Triton alongside the Abcor Racing Toyota Hilux of Rohan Barry.<\/p>\n
Jaidan Maggs in the second World\u2019s Best Technology entry was ninth in his Mitsubishi Triton, while hometown driver Ellexandra Best rounded out the top 10 in her similar Best Leisure Industries example.<\/p>\n
Bendix Racing\u2019s David Casey was 11th<\/sup> in his Isuzu D-Max, Gates JKD Racing Team\u2019s Dean Brooking share the sixth row.
