However, with Stadium Super Trucks having left Australia at the start of this year,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">Dave Casey and SWL Racing have turned to the SuperUtes category.<\/span><\/p><p>\u201cBecause Stadium Trucks are no longer in Australia, I wanted to stay within the Supercars\u00a0<span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">scene, and these SuperUtes are most relevant to the 4WD and off-road market. I made a\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">few phone calls with Paul Morris who put me onto the SuperUtes category and Sieders\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">Racing were more than happy to have me on board.\u201d said Casey.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">The Haltech V8 SuperUte Series debuted in 2018 in an effort to create a more market-<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">relevant racing series. SuperUtes underwent an enormous change in regulation starting last\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">year with the field of utes now using 6.2L V8 engines in favour of the turbo-diesel engines\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">used in previous seasons. Dave Casey will be piloting an SWL Racing-prepared Isuzu D-Max\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">for the 2022 series.<\/span><\/p><p>Bendix is proud to onboard with Dave Casey and SWL Racing for the 2022 series as part of\u00a0<span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">their first foray into the SuperUtes category.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit; color: var(--ast-global-color-3);\">\u201cIt\u2019s fantastic to be involved with such an iconic Australian automotive brand.
