TEAM MOTION RACING UNVEILS NEW #100 V8 SUPERUTE TO CELEBRATE SHURE’S 100-YEAR MILESTONE

Team Motion Racing is proud to announce that driver Aaron Borg will compete under a new racing number #100 for the final round of the 2025 Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series at Sandown Raceway.

The special number change celebrates the 100th anniversary of Shure, the team’s valued partner and a global leader in audio innovation.

Shure, renowned worldwide for its premium microphones and audio technology, marks an extraordinary century of excellence in 2025. To honour this milestone, Team Motion Racing and Borg’s Motion D-Max will carry #100 to commemorate Shure, symbolising precision, performance, and passion — values shared by both Shure and Team Motion Racing.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate Shure’s 100-year legacy in such a unique way,” said Aaron Borg, driver of the #100 Team Motion Racing V8 SuperUte. “It’s an honour to represent a brand that’s been powering the world’s sound for a century, and we can’t wait to take #100 to the track.”

“Our partnership with Shure has been an exciting alignment of technology and performance,” added Team Principal Craig Dontas. “The #100 livery is a tribute to their remarkable contribution to the audio world and their ongoing support of Australian motorsport.”

“Our partnership with Shure has always been built on shared values — precision, performance, and passion,” said Phil Muffet, CEO and Managing Director of Jands. “As we close on Shure’s 100th year of business, the #100 on Aaron’s SuperUte is more than a number; it’s a celebration of a brand that’s inspired a century of artists and professionals, and a reminder of the impact great sound can have. We’re proud to see Shure’s century of excellence recognised in such a dynamic and uniquely Australian way.”

Fans can catch the new #100 Shure V8 SuperUte in action this weekend for the final round at Sandown Raceway, as Team Motion Racing and Aaron Borg aim to continue their championship charge with style and sound. Round 6 of the series, the final round of this year’s championship will run from November 14-16, 2025 on the outskirts of Melbourne.
