Leading Australian air suspension specialists, Airbag Man, has been announced as major partner of rising star Sean Evans in the 2026 Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series.
The partnership sees the proudly Australian-owned family business join forces with the multiple championship-winning Sieders Racing Team baed in Sydney. While the category itself runs control suspension, the partnership is a natural brand fit for Airbag Man, whose core products are designed for the very same road-based dual-cab models that thrill fans on the track.
Ben Clamp, Managing Director of Airbag Man, is enthusiastic about being involved in the national series – which supports the Repco Supercars Championship – for the 2026 season.
“Seeing the Airbag Man livery on the truck for the first time was a real ‘hairs on the back of your neck’ moment; it looks absolutely lethal and ready for battle,” said Clamp.
“We are buzzing to be part of the Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series. This category is the heart and soul of Australian motorsport right now, and for us it’s the perfect platform to connect with our customers. We aren’t just here to make up the numbers, with Sean’s talent and the championship-winning pedigree of Sieders Racing, we’ve got our sights firmly set on a title. We can’t wait to see those Airbag Man colours leading the pack at 200km/h.”
Sean Evans enters the 2026 season with a reputation as a fierce competitor, having previously claimed a class victory in the Australian Production Car Championship and a podium finish in the Trans Am Series. For 2026, he moves into the driver’s seat of a Mitsubishi Triton V8 SuperUte, prepared by the SRT stable that has dominated the V8 Ute and V8 SuperUte landscape for years.

“You don’t join a team like Sieders Racing unless you’re planning on winning championships, and having Airbag Man come on board as a major partner shows we mean business,” said Sean Evans.
“I’ve seen the effort the team puts into the build, and seeing the Airbag Man livery on the truck really brings it all together. It looks fast just sitting in the workshop. This series is incredibly physical and demanding, but I know I’ve got the best support network on the grid to go out there and fight for the title from Round 1.”
Luke Sieders, team owner of the Sieders Racing Team, welcomed the partnership, noting the synergy between the two brands.
“The beauty of V8 SuperUtes is the direct link between the track and the driveway. Fans love seeing the same Hiluxes, Rangers, and Tritons they use for work and play being pushed to the limit,” said Sieders.
“Airbag Man is the gold standard for suspension on those exact vehicles, so they understand this market better than anyone. That shared passion for engineering and Aussie utes makes this a perfect fit, and we’re stoked to have them in our corner as we chase the 2026 championship with Sean.”
The Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series begins in earnest at Sydney Motorsport Park, NSW from February 20-22, 2026.
